Ivie Drake Becomes Georgia State Softball’s Career Hit Leader

The catcher for Georgia State’s softball team, senior Ivie Drake from Carlton, Georgia, has been rewriting the major offensive records for the Panthers. She already owns the career marks for runs scored, RBI’s, batting average, and walks. Hits was the last benchmark, and she broke her tie with Corrie Roberts last week as Georgia State faced Kennesaw State. What follows is my call of the historic moment.
